So what song do you chose and why?
Well its not an easy thing at all. The first single needed to be strong and catchy but in our case should reflect the general sound of the album so you can listen to it and understand what the project has been about.
With this project it was also about introducing Angela for the very first time and I felt Let’s Dance ticked those boxes and obviously because we all loved it.
I was also thinking what the next one should be and what that should say about the album and Angela so the first single was also about what was to follow, if that makes any sense at all!
Let’s Dance was one of the very first tracks we recorded and the second part of the chorus came from a creative moment between us all with the lyrics and melody I had written. Throughout the recording process and the songs that followed it Let’s Dance always held its own whilst other songs fell by the way side. That’s because it’s both upbeat and positive both musically and lyrically.
It’s time to feel the beat.
